QNNC, part of Qatar Foundation’s Education City, is the largest Convention Center in the Middle East with 14 multipurpose halls.

The installation started in 2010. SVETLOST TEATAR did the installation of the multimedia AV systems and the professional lighting in the following spaces:

  • Conference Hall - 4,040 seats
  • Theatre - 2,304 seats
  • Auditorium 1 (Lecture Hall) - 407 seats
  • Auditorium 2 (Lecture Hall) - 295 seats
  • Auditorium 3 (Recital Hall) - 517 seats
  • Press Room - 90 seats
  • Breakout Room 1 – 4 total- 810 seats
  • Meeting Room 101 - 90 seats
  • Meeting Room 102 - 90 seats
  • Meeting Room G01 - 80 seats
  • Meeting Room G02 -120 seats
  • Meeting Room 201 - 80 seats
  • Meeting Room 202 - 80 seats
  • Exhibition Hall 1

The installed AV Systems include:

  • Sound Reinforcement and playback systems
  • Analogue mixing consoles
  • Digital Cinema Sound Playback System
  • System integration of production ring intercom system
  • Installation of show relay monitor and paging system
  • Installation of Site-wide audio distribution and public areas paging system
  • Production Cue light System
  • Stage Manager Control Desks
  • Supertitles System
  • IPTV System
  • Video Projection Systems - Barco LED video walls 7.2m x 4m, 4.5m x 2.5m.
  • Simultaneous Interpretation, Assistive Listening, Audio Conferencing
  • Show control system

Lighting Systems - one of the world’s largest networked lighting control and dimming systems were installed:

  • 1400 centralized dimmer channels,
  • 2200 distributed dimmer channels,
  • 17 lighting control consoles,
  • 12 remote focus units,
  • 6 servers,
  • 290 network nodes,
  • 8 optical core switches,
  • 37 edge switches,
  • 36 DMX splitters,
  • 14 DMX mergers,
  • 10 Vision.Net touch screens,
  • 90 Vision.Net push button stations,
  • 1200 conventional lighting fixtures,
  • 430 moving lights,
  • 650 blue work light fixtures.

The convention center opened its doors to visitors in November 2011. Since then, more than 128 world-class events and conferences have been held at the center.
